Overview
There are two ways of converting PDF files to TIFF image files : either "translate" the PDF code to raster instructions or use a "rasterizer" to display the PDF and capture the displayed image to a TIFF file. Our PDF2TIFF uses the first method avoiding so, the need of copyrighted help programs. The second method requires our tool PDFPrint AND the Informatik Image Driver.
The PDF2TIFF tool supports both image-based and text-based PDF files. Available in 3 versions:
- PDF2Tiff (Commandline)
- PDF2Tiff (DLL for Visual Basic 6.0)
- PDF2Tiff (DLL for C++ and NET).
